Putting it together
I used Vinyl dye to paint the handle and end cap black.
Don't use spray paint, it will eat the plastic.
Vinyl dye is available at car auto shops
Test fitting them together.
Then the rod was spray painted blue.
I put it on too thick and it started to flake off, take your time.
Then the washers were mounted to the rod.
The largest washer is the one to the left. This washer holds the rod from falling out of the handle.
The other two smaller washers keep is stable.
Yes you can fight with this saber, but a hard hit will break the neon wire
The rod is fitted into the handle, and secured tight.
The neon was wrapped around the rod, and super glued at every winding.
I had to do this to prevent the tube from moving the windings.
The other metal pipe is used to hold the two handles together.
