Zippy EL keyboard

Zippy sent me a black model of their EL-715 model keyboard.

This is a great keyboard for those who want a lighted keyboard, but still want a full-size feel.

The keys are high quality scissor-type and have a good amount of travel and tactile feedback.

I found the keys to be very fast and responsive. In fact I am typing this review on the keyboard right now.

While the keyboard is larger the other EL keyboards, it is still very slim and compact.

The Dimensions are: 435 x 170 x 26 mm

The keyboard is very bright at night.

The EL Lighting is not green, but a very good looking Aqua-Blue

This shot shows what the keyboard would look like with normal room lighting.

It is bright and doesn't overpower out the keys, nor does it wash out in room lighting. 

With the keys off the keys are white with a even white background.

The keyboard has five blue LEDs, these are not overly bright, and look great with the keyboard.

Two of the LEDs are located at the top-middle of the keyboard where the USB cable comes out.

Another great feature is  ON/OFF button for the backlight.

This switch was integrated into a normal key, rather then a separate switch.

This is a great keyboard, it is thin, light, and backlit; perfect for LAN party events.

It is by far the best EL keyboard I have seen or used.
