Wireless barcode Reader hacked for PC

I found this gem for only $5 at a surplus PC parts store.
It is a Pioneer LaserDisk/DVD Wireless barcode reader.
This reader gave me the idea to create a printed list of all the Media on my Media PC.
Imagine a book with all the songs/albums/playlists, DIVX movies, Recorded TV, Internet Radio Stations, all printed out with barcodes next to them.
To call up a particular song, or video, all you do is swipe the barcode, and magically the media starts playing.

The barcode readers intended use is as a type of remote control.
Teachers or business presenters would use the reader to read a barcode, that would then pull up, the exact
spot on the Laserdisk or DVD they were playing.

But in order to make barcodes that the reader can recognize, I first had to figure out how to print them.
After some research I found the barcode is a "Interleaved 2 of 5" type barcode.
This is a Number only encoded barcode. Meaning I can't just use a font to make the barcodes.
So I will have to make an program, or excel spreadsheet that can generate these barcodes for me.

I have included images of the insides for those who are interested.
I originaly thought I would have to hack these, but just printing a readable barcode is all that is needed.
