Sound Blaster Hardware Volume control
I choose to use my Sound Blaster live for my Media PC as it has a header named Vol_Ctrl
Pin 3 is the common wire, shorting it to Pin 2 raises the Volume, Shorting it to Pin 1 Lowers the volume.
Shorting them both together will mute the sound.
First I had to solder a new jumper so that I can connect to this jumper.
The Black wire is common, the Red is volume Up and the White is Volume down.
These will be wired to three switches to allow for volume control.
