Black power supply

The power supply for my Media PC was nearly a perfect match, except that I wanted it not to show too much inside the PC. I also wanted to make all the cables in the PC black in color.
The other problem is that the ATX cable was about 2 inches too short to reach the motherboard's connector.

So I replaced the ATX cable with a longer cable.
And to vinyl dye it black I had to make sure and shield the cable's ends from the dye.

I dyed the casing and the ATX cable black.
Note: Vinyl dye DOES NOT stick to metal very well. It scratches VERY easy.
I did know this before I dyed the PSU, but as long as I don't scratch it up too much while installing it, it should stay in good shape.

After vinyl dying you end up with a nice black cable.

I cut the wires on the PSU's board
And soldered the new ATX Cable in place.

Next I needed to dye the molex connectors.
Electrical tape over the ends will protect the power connectors.

In the end you end up with and all black Power supply.
I wanted the PSU to be all black in order to hide it inside my tinted case.
The cables are pre-tied to run to the various parts I have in the PC.

The approximant hook-up to the parts of the Media PC.
Every power connector will be used.

UPDATE:
I found some cheap Expandable Sleeving so I added that to the PSU.
I removed each molex connector, surround the pins with electrical tape to keep the pins from catching on the sleeving.
