Brushed aluminum harddrive
I was going to put a window on this harddrive, but upon opening the drive I found the insides to be less than interesting. Instead of a bunch of platters, I found only a single platter, and a single read write head.
So I decided to sand the top of the drive. In the end I like this more.
I also decided to make the IDE cable black. A little vinyl dye fixed that right up...
It was dyed black in order to hide the cable in my tinted case.
