The mod contest had about fifteen entries.

In first place was a dual AMD Athlon K7 Server, crammed into a tire with spinner rims.
The two man team said they had built the PC in three days.

In second place was my favorite, a plexi-glass pyramid.
The two man team had taken three weeks to build it.

In third place was a good looking PC that had taken three years to build.
The reason it took three years, was that the builder had lost his job, and had to sell the parts, only to re-buy them back later when he had more money.

DENT8R, had his aluminum and plexi PC which had won first place for three events in a row.
This event he took home honorable mention.

Some other cool PCs that were not in the contest:

Kingston had a plexiglass PC showing off their memory.

There was a red PC that had been shot up.

I spotted the original coffee maker PC hiding inside the NOC

And ATI had a small form factor PC with a prototype Radeon X800 XT
This little PC could break 12,000 in 3DMark 2003
My PC with it's Radeon X800 Pro, can run just over 10,000 in 3DMark 2003
